Transforming the Grand Hall

We are all aware the weather here in Missouri isn’t exactly predictable. During your first bridal meeting we will discuss how you’d like your ceremony set up for “Plan A”, and cover your set up plans for “Plan B.” Silver Oaks Chateau is proud to offer our brides the flexibility of choosing their ceremony location with as little notice as the day of the wedding. This is at no charge to you.

If my ceremony is inside, how does that space become set for a reception?

Easy! When we discuss your timeline, we will factor in a cocktail hour for your guests. In this hour between ceremony and reception our staff and your catering staff will completely transform your space into an unrecognizable reception venue. We replace ceremony seating with reception tables and seating to match your seating chart, and move our items to reflect the new space.

What do you need from me?

With the help of your florist or decorator, we will have your tables set in no time. If you do not have a florist or decorator on site at this time, please ensure you have a friend or family member who can lay centerpieces and decorate to your specifications. Your Day of Coordinator is unable to assist in decorating your reception.
