Tell us a little bit about Ces & Judy’s Catering. What makes your organization unique in St. Louis?
Ces & Judy’s has been a premier caterer in the St. Louis area for over 40 years. Creating fabulous cuisine and amazing weddings is our passion. Our experienced sales and event managers, incredible Chef and kitchen staff, and dedicated banquet staff and bartenders are experts at exceptional, personalized service and forever wedding memories.
What item(s) do you guys provide that every bride should have on her menu?
Ces & Judy’s Signature Carrot Soufflé is a light, sweet carrot dish and is available as an hors d’oeuvre or side dish. We guarantee your guests will rave about it long after the wedding is over! You can even pick one up to help celebrate your favorite holidays.
Ces & Judy’s Signature Asiago Cheese Puffs are delightfully light, cheesy and one of our most popular hors d’oeuvres!
What’s the most unique reception you’ve done in the last year and why?
We recently catered a circus themed wedding at Ces & Judy’s venue, The Maison du Lac, that opened in August 2018. This fun event began with the couple’s dog Ruthie and servers wearing colorful bow ties, offering signature drinks to the guests on the spacious deck outside overlooking the lake. A costumed “carnival worker” passed bagged popcorn before the wedding ceremony began. The fun continued with custom menu options such as Lasagna Dip with Pasta Chips, Crunchy Chicken with Rice and Vegetable Stir Fry served with chopsticks in Chinese To-Go boxes, Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs on a stick, and Cajun Potato Wedges with a Sour Cream Drizzle and Green Onions and many other options, served on tables dressed with muti-colored linens and napkins. The couple and their wonderful family and friends had a great time!

Personalized service. Wedding planning can be stressful and we take great pride in being responsive and available to our couples every step of the way. We work closely with you to make certain your special day is just the way you imagined. We offer customized menus to help achieve that dream wedding. We love making food that’s memorable, so whether it’s pairing a tiny rum & coke bottle with a mini grilled cheese, or serving up sweet empanadas with a seasonal sangria, we’ve got you covered!
Please tell our couples why your team enjoys doing wedding receptions at Silver Oaks Chateau?
Silver Oaks Chateau is one of our favorite venues! The staff is wonderful to work with and incredibly accommodating. The owner's thoughtful venue design for caterers makes this a guaranteed place for a successful event. The building itself, with its special touches, along with the patio and lovely outdoor areas are beautiful for wedding photos, too.

Guilty food pleasure:
Our Brie en Crôute is delicious and beautiful! Warm Brie in a toasted pastry shell with lavender sugar glazed pecans, cinnamon and a hint of Cayenne. Our Herb and Shallot Stuffed Roasted Chicken with an Apricot Glaze is amazing as well! There’s so many favorites it’s hard to choose. Come in for a private tasting and you’ll discover for yourself!
